Yeast infection that I have treated with vinegar. Advice?
I had a cold and had to take antibiotics. As soon as I was done with the treatment I got a nasty vaginal yeast infection.
I was sick of taking the costly over the counter vaginal suppositories and read somewhere online that douching with vinegar would have the same effect, that is to balance the vaginal PH.
I have used it for 5 days now, diluting one table spoon of vinegar in a cup of luke warm water.
It has helped a great deal and I have been feeling so much better…no more itching and no discharge.
My question: For how long should I continue the vinegar treatment? How and when do I know when the yeast infection is gone for good?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

No more itching and no more discharge = healed. Give it another day of rinsing and then let everything settle.
A lot of people don’t even know about this but it does indeed work very well and it is soothing compared to the OTC meds.
Good luck"!
