yeast infection spread to anus?
I had a vaginal yeast infection a few weeks ago. I treated it with monistat 3 day cream. Now, about a week after I finished treatment, I have an anal rash which is itchy at times, pain after movements, and it seems like a little bit of discharge from the anus. Any ideas about how to treat this? Whenever I search for answers I always find information about vaginal yeast infections. Help please?!

eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!
A yeast infection is a yeast infection, whether its on your vagina or elsewhere. Try treating it with the same monistat cream or Vagisil. If things don’t improve contact your doctor…you may need some antibiotics at that point.
My other thought is that its a really bad "diaper" rash (you can still get them as an adult if your butt is too moist for a long period). The anti-itch cream should still work since its a drying solution rather than a moisturizing.
