yeast infection? monistat 7? hurt? what?
okay so to start: im pretty sure i have a yeast infection. i have whiet sticky clumps comming out of my vagina and on the outiside of my vagina it itches and sometimes burns. so do you think i have a yeast infection or not??
second: if i do have a yeast infection.. ive been searching monistat 7 and ive herd its worked best out of monistat 1 and 3. but does monistat hurt?? and does it burn when you apply the cream cause thats what ive herd??
and if youve tried monistat 7 tell me if it worked for you?
oorr if you know of something else that has worked for you that has gotten rid of your yeast infection please tell me.
third: does yogurt help stop yeast infections (eating the yogurt, that is)??
PLEASE HELP!!
oh, and im 15 and ive never had sex. and this is my first time having a yeast infection.

It sounds like a yeast infection. I have tried several treatments. My absolute favorite is to call my doctor and get them to call in a Diflucan. It’s a pill you take one time and it gets rid of it fast. But they usually won’t do that unless you are an established patient and you are sure that you have a yeast infection and not something else. You could try that.
If that doesn’t work, I would get the "Monistat 1 dose ovule day or night." It is a large capsule-like suppository that you only have to use once. It is a cream in a protective coating and dissolves slowly. The cream is super thick so it stays in place for several days and doesn’t leak out like the other treatments do. You don’t even have to take it right before bed. You can use it anytime. It works just as well as the 3 and 7 day treatments. You might feel an increase in itching and burning temporarily right after you use a treatment because the sensitive mucus membranes are already irritated and the medicine might burn a little at first. This is true of all the creams and it doesn’t matter what brand.
Yes, yogurt can help you get yeast infections less often.
