YEAST INFECTION ASAP!!!!?
I have a vaginal yeast infection. This is my first time getting one. Yesterday I bought and used the walgreens brand of Monistat’s 3 day treatment vaginal cream. It says insert cream at bedtime for 3 days in a row. I followed the instructions. and it seems to be helping. Is there anyone out there that has used this before that can tell me, do i need to wash the cream out? I felt some of it come out when i peed this morning. But does that get all of it? Or do I need to clean it thoroughly before the next use tonight? Thanks in advance!

Ok. This might seem odd coming from a guy, but I am a nurse and I used to take care of female inmates at our county jail. Just keep using the Monostat as directed. I would not be washing, as you can re-infect yourself, wait until the 3 days are over.
If you are still having a problem ask the pharmacist for something else or go to the doctor, you might have something that is a bit more difficult to get rid of, if the Monostat does not help you.

No, don’t rinse the cream out, leave it in. Continue to use the cream each day. Try to take baths instead of showers while you have your infection. You may need to get a 7 day treatment as many of the 1, 3, and 5 day treatments are ineffective in clearing up a yeast infection. Good luck to you!
