Will the medication fluconazole for my vaginal yeast infection cure my oral thrush, too?

So I have a vaginal yeast infection, and I also believe I have oral thrush. I just went to my OBGYN today and got a prescripation for fluconazole for "down there," but what about my oral thrush? Will this help cure it, too? Or do I have to make an appointment with my regular doctor to get rid of it?

You need to see your Doctor for an oral prescription if it is really thrush.
Start eating yogurt, keifer or something high in good bacterias to begin balancing out your system again.
