Why does my dog's ear flap and why is it purple?

I have a chihuahua her ears have always been pointing up and now one of her ears flap and on the tip of the ear is blue/purple and crusty. I have read that its a yeast infection but i want to know what to do, and I don’t have the money to take her to the vet right now. Please help. If theirs any natural remedies to cure it i would like to know.

you can always go to the vet and explain the situation.im sure they would understand.most vets would let you pay later.you could also take him to the clinic at the local animal shelter.they might treat him for free.

any part of the body that is blue or purple indicates a lack of oxygen and/or blood flow. your dog needs to see a vet asap.
