No. If let go, the dog can suffer hearing loss. It is easy to treat with ear medication and sometimes oral antibiotics. Please see the vet!!!!!!
Vicks would cause a LOT of problems!!!!!!!! It is PETROLUM based and would BLOCK all the gunk in the ear from coming out. No airflow in the ear equals a WORSE infection!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I have never heard of people having a yeast infection in the ear, or a human putting Vicks IN the ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would LOVE to see the look on the vet when you brought it in with a RAGING infection and said you put Vicks in the ears!!!!! He would write that up in the Journal in the "Stupid things owners have done" section!! LMFAO!!!!
all you have to do is put vicks salve in his hear this works on humans so why not try on your dog plus you save a few hundred bucks by doing this i have tried this and no more problems
How have you eliminated other possible problems… how can you be certain that is a yeast infection???
If you are CERTAIN it is a yeast infection, then treat it like a yeast infection…. the natural way is mix 1 part vinigar to 10 parts water and then rinse carefully
If you don’t have a yeast infection then this ear wash could actually cause other problems….
Please don’t wait – take your dog to the vet right away!! You need to know that not only does he have an infection, he is in PAIN and is trusting you to take care of him. Good luck and I hope your pup feels better very soon.
Go to the site below. They have a few recommendations for alternative, natural ways to cure your dogs ear infection. One is to use white vinegar.
Hope your dog is better soon.
I’m not sure about a natural cure, I’ve tried some and they didn’t do anything. My dog is very prone to these infections. Take your dog to the Vet, that’s the best cure!
The only way i know of is to go to the vet. OR go online to find an organic Reamedy for it, Im sure its gotta be out there.
