I have been doing some research and am trying to help my pooch. He was treated before for yeast and I believe that it is reoccurring.

He has about a 3-inch bye 1/2 inch strip on his bottom lip that has hair loss and is red and dry. I have him on Blue Buffalo Diet Fish and Potato, with no corn, wheat, or soy, but it does have whole ground brown rice as the second ingredient’s. I heard grains can be an underlying cause of yeast also. But it does have active ingridients that are found in yogurt that help cure yeast infections.

What should my next step be, the vet last time just popped him some shampoo, spray, ear cleaner, and meds. But this time it is just around his one top and bottom lip effecting mostly the bottom… he is allergic to perfumes also….
Complete meat diet?
Skin scraping?
Thyroid test?

Why would they give me antibiotics for the uti along with diflucan(yeast medicine) to cure both…the doc said yeast infections are caused by antibiotics…so wouldn’t i just get worse? the antibiotic feels like its making the yeast worse but I know its treating a uti…hmm what should I do? can i eat yogurt on it too?

i had a yeast infction for 5 months i took the pill but it didnt work so im going to plan b. i dont use tampons i use pads and do i hav to put it on a tampon or can i just put yourgurt on it.

i also been eating yougurt everyday and idont kno wat else to do. im ready to get this out of my system
