I think I may have BV — I have heavier brownish discharge with an unpleasant odor — and I was wondering if there are any non-antibiotic cures. It might be a yeast infection, so I’ll try those remedies first, but I want to know other things to try too. I’m only 13, and I can NOT go to a gyno, I’d be mortified. I’m not overly shy about any vagina related things with myself, but other people? No freakin’ way. Sorry.
The heavy discharge is new, the unpleasant smell used to only occur after skipping showers but now it’s happening every day. I’m thinking it might be a sign of my period, which is irregular and due any day now, but I’m not positive. I’m a virgin, by the way. I tried switching soaps and that didn’t help. I used to get a burning when I washed down there, too.
The cures can be natural, store bought, home made, I don’t care. I just want advice. Please no ’see a doctor’ answers — as I said, I can’t! And no douching either, I want to solve the prob not cover it up. Thanks

Hi! So yeah this is definitely a personal problem of mine and I’ve been having so many sleepless nights because of this… My vagina (along with the outer layer) is itching so badly and I’m just not getting any of the yeast infection symptoms such as the yellow discharge and weird smell…

However, about a month ago, I tried shaving my genital area for the first time with just a razor and I sort of tried to shave everything even inside (the vaginal area)… So the hair just started growing… My clitoris is even itchy and I can’t help scratching the genital area all the time for relief… Could it be because of the shaving? What should I do to get rid of the itch? Please help I’m dying! This problem really bothers me! I promise the 10 points for the best answer!

I’m a lesbian. When I was with my girlfriend last, she said that my vagina had an odd smell. I know that she’s had a Yeast infection for the last few months or so, but it’s not supposed to be spreadable through sexual intercourse. Every day since now, when I pee, there’s a burning sensation. Today when I checked, I found that I was abnormally wet. It was this whitish stuff when I put my finger in there and checked it out. It was a little bubbly. I checked for a rash, but I didn’t see one.
I really don’t feel comfortable seeing a doctor about this, because I don’t want this doctor or my parents knowing about my sex life. Please help! Treatments? I know that they’re available without a prescription.

last summer i developed a yeast infection and overtime after my period it kept coming back.
i used canesten, monistat and even a prescription cream. im still young so i don’t want anything shoved up my vagina. I take acidophilis pills which help a little but i want to cure this infection fully! its the most irritating and annoying thing. Can you please help what should i do?

my dr told me i have a yeast infection and gave me diflucan however it is sooooooo painful. it feels like someone kneed me in the vagina! is there anything i can do to relieve the pain until the diflucan cures the infection? i already tried a hot bath and advil
