So i have a yeast infection. symptoms: itchyness in the vaginal, burning feeling, white stuff in my underwear and in pubic hairs. sry if this is gross its also embarrasing to ask, but i need a treatment. its bothering the heck outta me. since I am only 12, i dont want/need to go to the doctor. a home treatment? if there is any please tell me thx a million!

I asked a related question a while back about this. As before, if you’re sensitive to subjects involving the female ‘down below’, I suggest you look away now.

For the last few months, I have been experiencing relativley heavy discharge, and also a kind of unpleasant scent from down there. I’m really hygenic and everything, but I don’t use any soaps or chemicals. I’m not sexually active either. It seems to clear up when I’m on my period, but maybe a week after my period, it comes back.

I’ve been looking into some of the main female problems that sound kind of like this, you know, Bacterial Vaginosis, Yeast Infections, Thrush etc, and I was wondering whether you guys knew whether this sounded anything like either of these infections, and whether I should be worried?
If so, are there any natural remedies I can use to cure whatever it is that I have?

I’ve recently resorted to washing a little bit more regularly and using looser underwear, but it still seems to be a problem, especially at school, what with the awkward scent and all, and it’s kind of worrying me.

I REALLY do not want to have to consult my mother, or any doctors or anything, especially if it turns out that I have nothing to worry about. But if it sounds like a major problem, I guess I will have to :S

I am 26 and have no itching but have a yellow/green discharge with an odor and was wondering what this could be? I used a 7 day over the counter yeast infection treatment to no avail. I’ve had this discharge for years but always heard women have a natural discharge and thought that was it but it ruins my underwear and after asking around realized this isn’t normal. I’ve tried looking up what it could be on the net but found a lot of different vaginal infections it kind of became confusing.

I don’t have any insurance at the moment but wanted to know if there were any nurses/drs out there who may see this often? Thanks in advance.

(by the way, I’m a girl regardless of my name on here) So I took the medicated ointment last night, and woke up and its like 2x as itchy! its getting worse and worse, itchier and more sore and red. I’m so miserable.. Is the ointment not working? Its a generic brand of monistat cream. I am taking vagisil with it. Please help. Has anyone experienced the itch this bad after taking the ointment?
Also, the medicine come out a little as I walk around I think because it ends up on my underwear little bits at a time. Does this stop it from healing me? I mean its coming out!

Well, I had a very swollen vagina lately, which within the past 3 days went completely back to normal but, I have questions: My vagina is still pretty itchy and it irritates me and is un comfortable from time to time ; has burning sensations at times. And , when it was healing the skin around my vaginal was dry and flaking , I’ve also been having some anal itching, and I’ve been having a LOT of watery discharge. It’s soaking through my underwear to some extent . I don’t really notice an odor at all but, the discharge ranges from a clear white to a faint yellow color . I looked up symptoms of a yeast infection and that pretty much sounds like what it is but I would like second opinions.
Should I pick up a yeast infection treatment ?
Someone mentioned that yeast infections have a cottage cheese looking discharge.. I know,but I read this , " odorless vaginal discharge (may be thick whitish-gray and cottage-cheese-like or may be watery in consistency) "
I guess it can be watery as well.
Oh, I would also like to mention that when I use the washroom , I realize there is about one or two gobs of yellowy discharge sitting on the bottom of the toilet.
