Im pretty sure its Yeast Infection and not mites thats for sure. Im just wondering if their is a home remedy to cure the infection.
I ask because I have had a recurring yeast infection for 2 years that has been treated with every treatment there is, to my knowledge. I would like to get the copper IUD, but I read you can’t get it during vaginal or cervical infections, but a nurse at the doctor’s office told me she doesn’t think yeast infections count as a contraindication. Krusti- take cranberry pills as directed on the bottle (some are more concentrated that others) for atleast 2 days after you have sex, and drink lots of fluids when taking them.

i have a yeast infection.
this is my first one so i didn’t know anything about it until i looked it up.
i can’t use the vaginal treatments, so i took the pill diflucan about 2 days ago.
i didn’t know i wasn’t supposed to have sex.
so i had sex yesterday. and i didn’t know i could pass it on either until i searched yesterday. (he’s going to the doctor)
but now it burns when i go to the bathroom. not the urethra but where you’d insert a tampon.
and the whole left side of my vagina is a little bit swollen.
even on the inside.
it felt like i tore something after sex and that’s where it burns.
did i interfere with the medication?
how long it will it take to go away completley?
and is there anything i can do to lessen the symptoms until it goes away without putting anything into my vagina?

Okay so I have a really itchy yeast infection. I have gross white discharge and it is red and irritated. I found some miconazole nitrate cream but no applicator. Could I use my finger and just push a glob up there lol? Or maybe use a tampon applicator? If so, how much should I use? Thanks in advance!
