I’ve had yeast infection since March because of antibiotics (I had to take a few treatments). First time Diflucan helped, but after another antibiotic the infection came back but never went away. I tried some vaginal creams to treat the infection and it didn’t help. My gyno put me on a 6-month treatment with Diflucan (1 pill every week for 6 months). I already took 4 pills and it’s not even getting better at all. It’s not too bad, it doesn’t itch at all, it doesn’t hurt when i have sex but there’s a lot of white discharge. And it’s kinda weird because sometimes i feel like i don’t have it anymore but later the same day the discharge comes back. And everytime we have sex, my boyfriend’s penis is covered with this white stuff, it’s just disgusting, man. My doc sent the culture to the lab and they confirmed that it’s yeast.
Have you ever had this kind of problem before and how did you get rid of it?

I was prescribed clotrimazole and told to apply a small amount to my penis twice daily for seven days. Will this rid the infection? Surely antibiotics are needed to kill bacterium/whatever within my penis?

yogurt, monistat, and they haven’t really worked. Does diet really play a big factor into curing the yeast infection or is it a matter of using the right ointments, pills or home remedies?

I have problems putting things inside my vagina that is smaller than a penis….i dont know why but anything small really makes me uncomfortable and i feel light headed. I tried using monistat which came with a number of tubes that you put cream inside and stick it in your vagina but i havent had any luck when i do it i get light headed….why is that happening?? I dont mean to sound wrong or anything but i cant even be fingered without feeling uncomfortable. I cant even use tampons, i dont understand i can easily have sex without a problem.
