Ok so I’m 13 and I think I have a yeast infection it itches and burns.. Im to scared to tell my mom about it so like how can I cure it myself and if not how do I tell my mom since we don’t ever talk about this kind of stuff please help and no stupid answers..
Ever since june of 2010 I’ve been suffering from yeast infection every month.I’m 17 years old now and I’ve been in sever pain each time I get it. I go to doctors and they tell me the same thing each time, But still the yeast infection returns. It’s become a daily reutine in my life. I’ve tried everything to loose cotton underwear to greek yougurt with the right type of bactria but nothing works. So now I’m begging anyone to please tell me the steps to sarah summer yeast infection cure since it’s said to be gone for good. I understand you have to by it but I don’t have the money and my mom is doing it by herself so IM BEGGING you for sarah summer instrutions.
I’ve been having problems down there lately, so I searched online and on a few chat sites, women said a tampon soaked in vinegar does the trick. My mom has heard of it but never tried it but women online said its worked for them. So, I put it in and it’s been in for about an hour. Hopefully this one will work. Has anyone else tried this?
Please don’t say go to a doctor, we don’t have any health insurance.
The yogurt defiantly did not work well. It just made the infection worst. 
I know this is going to sound bad, but about a month ago I started experiencing vaginal itching, discomfort, a little bit of white discharge; all the typical symptoms of a yeast infection. My mom gets them quite frequently and knows all about them, so when I described to her what was going on, she said we should go get an over-the-counter kit (Canesten 1-Treatment cream). I didn’t check with my doctor if what I had was actually a yeast infection, but all the symptoms seemed so spot on to those of a yeast infection so I figured I should just go for it, what harm could it do. I took the 1 treatment kit, then again I think a little while after (not sure exactly how many days after) since it hadn’t really gone away. Then after the second treatment, it disappeared.
Now I have the same symptoms again. I’m on the birth control pill, which I know is a common cause of yeast infections, so I’m pretty positive that I DO indeed have a yeast infection. I just bought a 1-treatment Canesten pill pack today and I was planning to take it tonight, but my mom thinks I should just try an itch relieving cream (like Vagisil) for now, until we actually go to the doctor and get it checked out.
What I’m mostly curious/concerned about is was it really bad to have taken medication for a yeast infection if its possible that I didn’t really have one to begin with? What’s the worst that could happen, if anything?

I’m almost %100 positive that I don’t have an STD (*knock on wood*). I’ve only ever been with one guy, and we were both each other’s first time, so I don’t know where I could get an STD/STI from if I were to actually have one.

What are the symptoms of a yeast infection and what do you take for one? My mom says to drink cranberry juice and eat yogurt if you get one, lol. Also, what IS it exactly? And how do you get it?
