I’ve had two yeast infections, a little over a month apart from each other. The first one occured when I was unaware of my pregnancy, and this one I’m battling is taking place right before the 3-month benchmark. They seem to get worse and worse.
I took the usual yeast infection treatment I get, the night-time vaginal suppositories with the external cream. But my labia are SO SWOLLEN, and there are white patches on them. Not to mention the typical reddening, burning, discharge, yada yada. Is this swelling normal?! It’s never gotten this bad.
So help me out preggos, past preggos… what should I do?!
THANKYOUUUUU <3
Btw, there is no fishy smell.

I have started shaving my vaginal area for this year. I usually start shaving ‘down there’ in spring through summer. I am yet again getting razor burn and ingrown hairs.
I have shaved for the last 2 weeks. Now I find myself to have the sysmptoms of a yeast infection. Burning, itching, irritation, white discharge and fowl smell. I started on Monistat 7 day ointment and am hopeing it goes away soon.
Do you think the razor burn or shaving caused this? I shave on my inside labia to get rid of the hairs there too? Also, I just bought Veet bladeless hair removal kit and wondering if I can use this while getting treatment for yeast infection and with a yeast infection? Maybe the creme with the veet would make it worse?

I’m just getting over a yeast infection. It’s been almost a week, but my progress has been up and down due to some activities in which I have participated that have regressed my vaginal healing: swimming and white water rafting (my boyfriend and I were on vacation and I really wanted to get in all the adventure I could!). Right now I’m experiencing slight burning (on a scale of 1 – 10, a 2) around the vaginal opening and labia. I had sex last night considering I was feeling great and it didn’t hurt nor was it uncomfortable – after however, I had a little cut. I was told that dipping a tampon in yogurt and inserting that into my vagina would soothe the burn – but, would it cure it? I was going to wait until next week to see my gyn as it doesn’t seem that pressing. Right now I’m taking probiotics and oregano oil as natural anti-candida remedies. Should I refrain from sex for a few days? How long?
Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and take care!

I think I have a yeast infection (itchy vaginal entrance and labia with little discharge that started about a week ago and progressively has gotten worse). So does inserting a clove of garlic really work? And what about triamcinolone ointment? I read that that can actually work too?
Thank you!
Does it sound like original strength vagisil cream would work for me instead?
