I am suffering with a systemic yeast infection and was wondering what natural remedies (eg. supplements, tinctures, herbs, vitamins/ minerals) could help me to get rid of the excess yeast in my system. I already know the following helps:
Yeast free diet
Garlic
Probiotics
Grapeseed extract
Apple-cider vinegar
I realise that there is no out right ‘cure’ but suggestions of anything that could help would be most appreciated.
Please remember im asking about SYSTEMIC (internal) yeast infection; not a vaginal, vulval or oral infection
@Natpractitioner – FYI a yeast-free diet includes a sugar free diet

I have been having yeast infections since I was about 9 years old at least every year (I am now 22). When I am sexually active they are always more frequent and uncomfortable, even thogh I shower directly afterwards and make sure everything is as clean as possible. I have been to numerous doctors about this, and tried so many cures, including medicines and creams. Also natural remedies like tea tree oil, cranberry and acidopholus pills, lots of water, etc. Currently I put a clove of garlic inside of me every day! I don’t wear tight clothing and I shower every day. I don’t use soap there. I don’t eat a lot of sugar. The gynecologists aren’t helping anymore and I am desperate. Please~ ANY help??

There is so much wishy washy information out there that it’s time consuming and difficult to sift through everything.
I already know about eating yogurt & taking garlic supplements (not sure how much and how often). I am also taking a 3 day OTC antifungal (can this damage my bod) & feeling some relief already. I don’t want to take diflucan. I decided not to take the oral herbal cure the grocery store had because it contained yeast in it, & that’s what I’m trying to fight against! LOL =O
How much fruit is safe to eat with my plain yogurt and kefir? How much sugar is okay in products like milk or adding Splenda to coffee (which I read that aspartame is also feeding the yeast)?What about fasting?
I read somewhere it has to do with the pH balance but not to drink sodas because of sugar?
I do not have diabetes but "sugar" & diabetes has been known to run on both sides of the family.
Is there anything else I need to know about natural remedies that I have not asked on here?

I have tried everything. Over the counter meds, perscription meds, yeast pills (nature’s cure and others), Rephresh, yogurt, and probably more. Are there any other methods I should try? I hear grapeseed extract works? Has anyone tried that? And also….are garlic pills a method? I think I’ve heard of that for fighting yeast, too.
Has anyone who’s had reoccuring yeast infections finally cured it somehow?
