My poor baby!! Yeast infection treatments?

My poor little 17 month old had RSV last week which led to her developing an ear infection. Today I see that she has developed a yeast infection, probably because antibiotics often kill the good bacteria living down there.

I feel so bad that she is going through all of this at once! I had yeast infections as a child and my mom swears that plain yogurt is a miracle cure. I’m going to buy some tomorrow. Do you know of any good treatments for yeast infections? This is her first one… thanks! She has a follow up appointment next week to make sure that she has recovered from her RSV and ear infection. I’m confident that I can handle the yeast infection just fine, but obviously if it gets worse we’ll go straight to the doctor.
And I mean applying the yogurt to her vaginal area, not eating it… lol… just clarifying.
Well she does eat yogurt everyday. But applying it vaginally is a common treatment that helps to balance out the bacteria down there.

She is a Spaniel/Dachshund mix, and has long floppy ears. For about a month now her ears have been itching horribly and they have a foul odor. I have been cleaning her ears out with ear cleaner and it doesn't seem to be going away?? I have heard about using Monistat for ear yeast infections for dogs…I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and it worked!!Thanks for your comments and help :)
**I also notice that when I look in her ears…it looks kind of dry and scaly looking?? Is that yeast or what?? My mother has a poodle and her ears get exactly like that, she took her to the vet and it was yeast infection, they gave her something similiar to Monistat and it cleared it up!
