My 5 year old chihuahua has never had ear problems. Last night she started yelping like she was in pain, wouldn’t let us touch her, became agressive but also timmid. I took her to the emergency vet who said that she has a yeast infection of the ear. Not that I’m the expert, but I am just not buying it. Her pain seems so much worse. Any experience you have to offer?

My dog has this awful smell and we looked it up online. We saw that it was very common for the type of dog we have to get yeast infections, but we aren’t sure if that’s what he has. He seems to show the symptoms for it. He is also very old.

We applied Tri-Otic to her ears, the white creamy stuff them rubbed it into her ears, like the vet told us to. Now her yeast infection is resolved, but as a pomeranian the fur around her ears, neck, and head is all greasy. Sticky, clumpy, and wet looking. How do I get it off without using something too harsh? Anybody have experience with this?
That is really safe on animals?
i found it but it is an extremely durable adhesive. Are you really saying to put this on my dogs face? Seriously?
