well I recently went to the doctors and found out I have a urinary tract infection, along with a yeast infection. ah! ugh. I can’t stand the itching but the doctor at the hospital gave me amoxicillin for the UTI. but I have been told that amoxicillin can actually make yeast infections worse. He also told me to use monistat to clear up the yeast infection. so in order to save money, my mom bought an off brand of monistat, called Miconazole. Its a 7day vaginal antifungal cream treatment and it says compare to monistat. So Im just wondering is it safe to take the amoxicillin while I have a yeast infection? I don’t want it to get worse! but if I don’t take the amoxicillin the UTI could get worse! ah idk what to do!

I am 6 weeks pregnant today, my vagina has been really irritated and itchy. I bathe daily and don’t use anything scented so i don’t know how this could have happened. Is there anyway to take care of this with home remedies just until i go to the doctors?
Also can I have sex with this?

The steroid cream that one dr gave me for contact dermititus isn’t as effective as it once was. I first had this 3 years ago. Have seen 4 doctors over this. Has any one else had these symptoms? Swollen, crusty outer vagina. Itchy inner vagina and out. Sometimes bleeding. The Monistat helped some but caused bleeding. It is a very depressing situation, kind of hopeless and physically miserable. Please no wisecrackers, this is serious to me.
