"For years, I was plagued by chronic yeast infections, including but not limited to: rashes, weight gain, insomnia, acne, constipation, chronic fatigue, depression, sensitivity to chemicals, you name it. After following your program, I had made a significant progress. My thrush, acne and rashes had vanished. My skin had almost completely cleared up. I hadn't looked that good in 15 years. Hi, my name is Steffany I’m 23 years old and I have a question. Aproximately around September 2009 I developed an irritation and pain after sexual intercourse for the first time of my life. I got worried and I ask my PCP what could it be, we agree that it was most likely Yeast, so I go some over the counter suppositories, the irritation was still there so he recomended to take a single dosis of Diflucan and after that it will be completely gone. Well it didn’t go away so I went to the OBGYN she took a culture and looked it up on the microscope, it came up to be Yeast as we assumed before, she also tested me for Chlamydia because of my symptoms of pain during and after sex,I got also tested for HIV, Syphilis, sugar and Thyroid, everything came up normal and negative. My OBGYN gave me a vaginal cream that I used for 7 days, during those 7 days I got my period but I keep on using it, at the end of the treatment the infection was gone, but 2 weeks later it came back. I went back again to the OBGYN she looked up another sample under the microscope and the yeast was still there (at this point I was already following all the hygene advices that she gave me) She told me a few more hygene habits and some things that I need to avoid and she gave me another prescription for Diflucan (single dose) I took it and follow all the instructions avoiding sexual intercourse and everything. During the waiting time after taking the pill, I got my period and the infection was gone, but not for too long, every since then I been getting the same symptoms at least 1 week before my period comes, with the exception that I don’t get the irritation or pain, but I do get the white discharge without smell and the itchines. I don’t know what to do, it is very unconfortable and discusting to me. I have to say also that I’m married, been with same sexual partner for the last 5 years, I just turned 23 years old yesterday, and I been taking oral contraceptives for about 4 years (I used Yasmin and about 3 months ago I switched to Ocella the alternative for Yasmin) I haven’t been on any antibiotic treatment, and always but, even more after the first diagnosis of yeast, keep good hygenic habits. I will apreciate if you can guide me on what to do since I don’t want to go to the OBGYN have them do a culture and give me another treatment that will help only for a few weeks and then it will come back. Thank you for your help

Can penile yeast infection cause testicular pain?

My boyfriend has been taking an antibiotic for a while now and we recently found out that he has a yeast infection. He has been having testicular pain as well and we were wondering: Could that be from the yeast infection or should we be worried about something more serious?
The antibiotic is a 1 week treatment for chlamydia, which he got from his previous girlfriend, the only girl he’s ever had sex with.

Is there a natural chlamydia treatment?

I dont want answers that say just suck it up and take antibiotics, PLEASE. Thanks.

I don’t take pills, I haven’t in 4 years. I really strongly believe that anti-biotics aren’t the way to go for many reasons:
1- They kill the bad bacteria, but they destroy the good too
2- weakens the immune system, which isn’t great during the flu season
3- Produces a yeast infection after, which isn’t that fun to deal with.. then I’d have to either get more antibiotics or an over the counter treatment.
4- They are bad on the stomach.

Theres just many reasons I don’t think anti biotics are great, and I’m on the hunt to find a natural treatment for chlamydia. Please, if you know anything help.

Its a bacteria, and so is a yeast infection. Why can a yeast infection be cured over the counter but chlamydia can’t?

Any feedback, except saying to just take the damn pills, are welcome.
I don’t trust my doctor anymore. I told him months ago the symptoms I was having, and he said it was a yeast infection. I asked if he could do a test or look at it at least and he said no, it would be fine. The only reason i found out is becuase I went for my annual. If my doctor would of checked it out months and months ago, I wouldn’t have to worry about being infertile and having PID.

Clare Richardson asked:

Thousands of women to self diagnose an infection of yeast daily. This is one or the other made from a list of symptoms found in a book, or on the Internet, or from similar symptoms a close friend once suffered with. The problem with this type of self-diagnosis is there are other bacterial vaginal infections have similar symptoms to yeast infection. The symptoms of yeast infection are caused by the yeast Candida albicans. However, these symptoms are similar to the vaginal bacterial infections and this is where the self-diagnosis can lead to complications later. Even if you have suffered from yeast infection in the past you can still get your wrong self-diagnosis. Symptoms Symptoms urinationThese a cheese of intercourseFrequent | ItchinessPain and rednessCottage of? the area of vaginal yeast infection and / or painful sexual dischargePainful are a guide only and if you suffer from any of them need to see your doctor before you begin trying to curarti. The painful sexual intercourse may be a symptom of Chlamydia, which if left untreated can damage the irreversible pain and your reproductive organs. Frequent Urination painful and may be a sign of infection of urinary tract that once left untreated can then cause an infection of the kidney. Your doctor is the only person who can diagnose any vaginal infection you have. Your doctor will take a sample of bacteria / fungus that is causing the infection and then try it. This is the only way for proper diagnosis. Many women who suffer from forms that all vaginal infection rather self diagnose that you have this type of examination carried out on them. Ask the few minutes to have a doctor examine it is a lot better of having caused permanent damage to your reproductive organs.
