My bf has symptoms of yeast infection (red tip kinda itchy) and we think that could be the problem. However, although we have unprotected sex (no condom), and we thought i would be then the source of the infection…. I have not had yeast infection in years! I only had it once, years ago. Questions> How could he have it if I dont? and maybe could it be that is NOT yeast infection but an irritation? what possibly could it be?

A month ago i had yeast infection, and then got my period and it seemed that it went away. i had intercourse with my bf, but it hurt really bad so we stopped. I thought that it was probably the yeast infection so i took monistat 7. Then we tried it again after i had finished with the treatment and it still hurt. I don’t itch anymore, and the only symptoms i have is painful intercourse and really watery discharge. what is this????
