I had unprotected sex a couple of months ago. However, there was very little penetration due to his erectile dysfunction. Anyway about a week and a half later I developed a yeast infection. I am in a foreign country where the washing machines for example do not cycle long enough. I also noticed that my symptoms of itchiness and discharge go away during my period but then come back shortly after it begins again. It is very difficult for me to go to the doctor now.. and i am currently running out of the 7 day treatment. I didnt finish it bc my period interrupted it.
Does anyone know oF std symptoms can go away during a period, perhaps its not a good environment for bacteria or something=?>

I have been going through what i thought and was diagnosed with yeast infections and bacterial infections for about 8 months now. The medications the doctors gave did nothing. After suffering for so long i knew that i was being diagnosed wrong. I finally had a doctor who would actually give me a vaginal culture and they found 4+ e-coli. I was negative for yeast and bv. My doctor gave me antibiotics for it and it still remains.I was on the treatment for 7 days. Has anyone ever heard of this before? If so do you have any advice in hopes get rid of it? I have also been tested for everything so that’s all ruled out thank god. I also know that it is bacteria from a bowel, i really do not know how i got this, im very clean and wipe correctly and i do not have anal sex.

I’ve had bad experience with department store and perscription yeast infection treatments, so I turned to a more natural, at home alternative.
I stumbled upon acidophilus. I took a tablet, and within 5 minutes my symptoms were gone. No more itching, discharge, or soreness. I was amazed.
I didn’t take one the next day, and the symptoms came back, although not as bad as they had been. The day after that I took another one, and once again, the symptoms were gone.
I’m wondering if the tablets are curing the infection, or just providing temporary relief of the symptoms? Any input/experience is appreciated.
If they are actually curing the infection, how long should I continue to take the capsules, and how many billion bacteria can I ingest per day? (my capsules are 2 billion)

Okay, this is my first time getting a yeast infection. I have had it now for 6 days and I have lost most of my sanity… I was taking 3000 milligrams of antibiotics to kill the bacteria h. pylori and now I’m stuck with this stupid infection
Someone needs to help me with this!! I need a fast, effective treatment to kill this!! I’m 16 if that is relevant. I haven’t told my mom because I’m really embarrassed and I don’t know how to start the conversation >< So I’m just gonna ask some random strangers on the internet
