I know that for your first suspected yeast infection you’re supposed to go to the doctor and have it confirmed but I don’t have the cash flow for it at the moment. So upon the self diagnosis of a yeast infection after doing a lot of reading, I started the Monistat 3 day treatment last Friday and things are all cleared up except for swelling inside my vagina, which is not causing any pain. I just need to know if this is something that normally occurs with a yeast infection. Thanks! And no lecture on the lack of a doctor’s visit please, I have an appointment with my Gyno for next month.

Will this help cure it, too? Or do I have to make an appointment with my regular doctor to get rid of it?

I have a terrible yeast infection right now. I got it from a nasty round of antibiotics. I’ve already taken 3 Diflucan to no avail. I’m afraid to use Monistat because the last time I used it I had a serious reaction that caused burns on my labia.

Is there another cure or treatment for it that I can try at home? I have a gyno appointment on Thursday but I’m not sure if I can take the burning until then.
