Reeeeeally itchy vagina… yeast infection + how to cure?
Okay so i’m 13 and i’m a virgin, but i’ve masturbated before, and just recently i noticed that my vagina was reeeally itchy and today i realized that there is this white stuff in my vagina, like not discharge but like little spot-patch-things of cottage cheese or toilet paper or whatever. i looked up some other questions like this but in each case the girl talking was not a virgin, whereas i am. so i’m wondering if i have a yeast infection? cuz thats what the other girls from the questions i searched found out, but as i said, none of them were virgins. so if i do have a yeast infection, how long is the time period in which i will have it and how do i – WITHOUT SPECIAL CREAM OR PILLS – get rid of it?? thank yooouuuuu.

Yes, you can get an yeast infection without having sex. For a few women, a yeast infection can go away on it’s own just after their period, otherwise the infection just continues. Most of us cannot stand the itching that long to see if the infection will go away on its own. The longer you go without treatment, the worse the infection can get. You really need to talk to your mom and have her get your some Monistat 7 day over-the-counter at any drug or grocery store. Most home remedies don’t work.
Yeast is a fungus referred to as Candida. Yeast is commonly present on normal human skin and in areas of moisture, such as the mouth and vagina.
Vaginal yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria.
If you have diabetes mellitus or are pregnant or taking oral contraceptives (birth control pills) or antibiotics you may get an infection. The use of douches or perfumed vaginal hygiene sprays may also increase a woman’s risk of developing a vaginal yeast infection. Improper ventilation – say wearing nylons too long, tight pants, etc, can contribute to getting an infection.
Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching
You can try this: Put a tsp of apple cider vinegar in a 6-8 ounce glass of water and drink it 2-3 times a day.
But it’s best to see a doctor or get Monistat.
