Well the symptoms listed on the box are for pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). This is a bacterial infection in the vagina that causes inflammation and pain. One can have both PID and a yeast infection. The only treatment for PID is antibiotics, it is usually diagnosed via pelvic exam. A swab is taken of your cervix and sent to the lab. They look at it under the microscope for particular bacteria and the diagnosis is made. Make an appt. with your Dr and get checked out.

Id see your doctor about the pains, as for the yeast infection you should get some kind of thrush treatment at the chemist when you get antibiotics as most of them give you thrush. Also try eating yogurt with acidophiles to keep the infection away.

I think those are just general symptoms that your problem is much bigger than a yeast infection. If you have a fever, it could be toxic shock syndrome. You need to get that checked out. Infections can hurt your future fertility.

I am not sure what all those symptoms are for but it might be for something like toxic shock syndrome I am not totally sure. I would talk to my doctor or at least call the nurse hot line. They can answer your questions and help you determine if you need to see the doctor. I can tell you that your infection might also be a bacterial infection. I thought I was getting yeast infections but the medicine never worked and when I finally went to my doctor they told me it was actually a bacterial infection. If that is what it is you can only treat that with antibiotics. so you should probably go to the doc. If you do go to the doctor and find out it is a bacterial infection it is really important for you to remember to ask him/her to prescribe diflucan for yeast infection as well because antibiotics can cause a yeast infection. That happened to me with my 1st bac infection and it really sucked because I didn't know to ask. Well good luck and I hope you get well soon.
God Bless.

p.s. Is it possible your other symptoms might be signs of pregnancy? Have you already ruled that out?

p.p.s. I just saw your add on about trying to get pregnant and you not having any insurance. I wanted to add that at most planned parenthood clinics you can get an exam and a pregnancy test. I think they might charge a slight fee for a blood test but that is more exact than hpt tests. Good Luck!

Your problem could be pretty severe and should be attended to right away. Your partner also needs to be treated if you have engaged in sexual activity during this time. Once you have the problem under control, start eating more yogurt or take acidophilus pills. Acidophilus is a friendly bacteria that we have in out intestines and is also found in yogurt. This prevents the overgrowth of yeast and maintains a nice flora there. Take care of yourself.
