Kimberly, I feel badly for you coz I know how uncomfortable and irritating yeast infections can be, let alone, frustrating! Have you looked into, perhaps, starting on a yeast infection diet?
Sorry to say that yeast infections don’t go away with medications – they only work to "control" the infection. In fact, if the medications have antibiotics in them, it will only worsen this condition on down the road!
What a sufferer should do is starve out the yeast and promote friendly bacteria back into the gut. This can be done following a good diet regimen. These diets are strict but they only have to be eaten for a short period of time – from 1-6 months, depending on the severity of the infection.
If you go to your obgyn, and tell them that the medication did not help, they will prescribe you a little pill. The pill is a little pricey, but worth the results. I cannot remember the name of it, but it looks like a small CQ-10 pill (Its available at wal mart, its good for your heart:) ) Good luck
I hope that I helped
you have to go back to your obstetrician. tell her that you still have the symptoms of yeast infection. she might changed your medication and discontinue your present medications. there are many topical ointment that are out in the market today. good luck!
Hi, you might be able to find your answer on a site from a friend of mine… It has a lot of articles about this stuff… I am not so familiar with it myself I must say, but she knows a lot about it… You can see it in the source box…
Hope it helps
