is it dangerous to let a yeast infection go untreated for a couple of days?

I just realized this morning that i have a yeast infection, i have a doctors apointment on monday with my gyno anyway so i figured i would just wait and see what she wants me to do before i go and spend a bunch of money on the treatment from the store, is that safe?

probably more ‘uncomfortable’ than dangerous, as long as it’s only a day or 2-
but it can get pretty bad pretty quick
just the gentlest generic drug store brand of a treatment shouldn’t be that much
u can also eat yogurt, or apply it to increase essential bacteria and decrease the harmful bacteria
edit-i can vouch for ty4nothing and darby-i used plain yogurt because the same thing happened to me, but it was late at night, so i just used what i had, and it worked like a CHARM
