The UTI’s are hard to take care of, but making sure you get plenty of water may help.
As far as the yeast infections, I found a really good cure that has been used in the Orient for some time, I found out. Pure, unflavored yogurt, once you already have a yeast infection. To PREVENT them, eat yogurt (not frozen) to provide the proper bacteria to keep the number of yeast bacteria down (they occur naturally and only cause trouble when their numbers grow inproportionate to the other beneficial bacteria). I know it sounds strange, but it’s a documented fact.
Also, make sure you wear cotton undies that let air circulate in the area and you might think of nixing the undies at night (that’s what my OB/GYN suggested when I was having that problem).
Good Luck!
if this seems to be a chronic problem I would go see your Dr –
I have a friend who found out she had diabetes just because of that same reason – all the yeasts were eating sugars and LOVING IT!!!
please go get some PROFESSIONAL help
Eating yogurt helps and make sure to get your 8 glasses of water a day. Drink cranberry juice too.
mycelex seven- and eat lots of yogurt with the active cultures- like yoplait i heard something once about putting garlic up there, but i think that sounds sort of dodgy and not so pleasant. if store bought stuff doesnt work, ask your obgyn for something stronger i know diabetes can aggravate it, as well as drinking alot of beer-on a final note, if you have one, and "yknow" with your hubby, he can be carrying it, and well, keep giving it back you when you, you know. so have him ask his doc for meds too, tho i think for a guy its a medication you take orally, also he wouoldnt have any symptoms but like, dark pee, so its entirely possible hes just passing it back to you.
Go to you GYN and tell them, they can put you on Diflucan, it’s 1 pill and it’ll clear up the yeast infection.
Only your doctor can tell you why. Yeast infection could be caused by medications, to much moisture in your vaginal area. Diflucan is a great medication for Yeast infections. But you will need a prescription. Over the counter Monistat works well to. Also eating yogurt can help. UTI’S are commen in women who take bubble baths, or don’t keep themselves clean. ( I am not saying you don’t) They can also be caused by douching. Cranberry juice helps with UTI’S. But I would see my doctor to find out what is going on.
Be sure to make sure that you wipe from front to back when using the rest room and urinate before and after intercourse. As far as the yeast is concerned Monistat 3 always works for me.
If the UTIs is bad you need to go to the Dr., but a home remedy that I have found to work on yeast infections is use plain yogurt down there. I know it sounds gross but believe me it works. It is an old wife’s tail but if they used it and is still around then it must have worked. I’m a mom and a wife as well.
First go to your doctor. Multiple yeast infections are a common side affect for people with type 1 diabetes.
For uti’s drink at least 8oz of cranberry juice a day, or go to a health food store and get cranberry extract in pill form. I have a friend who used to get them and this is what her doctor told her to do.
As far as yeast infections go… eat lots of yogurt, like dannon light and fit, which has active cultures, but doesnt contain any fat or any added sugar.
If you already have a yeast infection, this is going to sound kind of gross, but I had to take my friend to emergency one night because she thought she had an std that turned out to be really bad yeast infection, and the nurse told her that next time she should go get plain (make sure it is not flavored) yogurt and use that as a douche. This will put the good bacteria right where they need to be to stop the yeast from breeding.
if the problem is recurrent then you maybe diabetic or taking cortizone that makes your immune system weak and makes you susceptible to that type of diseases,
