HELP::::at first the symptoms..yeast infection..treated it…now i have burning…?

ok i started getting symptoms of a yeast infection..u know the white discharge..itching…so i treated it witha monistat kit..i thought i saw improvement but then i started to get pains in my lower abdomen…like cramps and now i have like a burning sensation…idk its not bad but i think i might have an std or something…does this sound like an ything uve heard of? im going to the gyno tomorrow morn but im freakn out…please help

It might not have been a yeast infection and by you treating it with the monistat made it worse. It could have been BV or something eles……..here are some links that might help you. Hope everything turns out ok.

Sounds like you may have a UTI (urinary Tract Infection) You can also get over the counter meds. for that too, called Uristat or Azo either one works well. If you get these infections often you should see a Doc., or go to the health Dept. Sometimes things touch that area that make it sensitive like soaps, etc. Try bathing that area with baby wash liquid soap , and get rid of the bars of soap, and liquid deodorant soaps.
