Gross question, but I need help. I’m really scared! It’s a question about the symptoms of Yeast Infection!!!!!?
I know this is gonna be gross to some people, and if any of my friends see this I’m in shit.
But I’m really scared right now. My vagina itches & it burns when I pee. I just got out of the shower around 3 hours ago and it just started itching. I didn’t know why so I was scratching but it didn’t help. So I went to go pee to see if it would help but it just stung really badly. I looked online and I read that it might be Yeast Infection, but I’m not sure. And I also read that you CAN die from it so now I’m scared to go to bed and it’s 5:30AM. I don’t want to go to the hospital because I don’t want to tell my dad. My mom’s not home because she’s visiting our family in the Philippines and she won’t be back for 2 weeks. And I’m only 14. 
I’m really scared and I could cry right now !
By the way, I am most definitely NOT sexually active. And for a while now it’s stopped itching as much. So if it does stop itching completely, does that mean that it was just some freak reaction to my soap or is it more serious than that?

Thanks everyone ! Maybe I will go see a doctor. I’d rather wait for my mom to come home before I do though. And if I did go to the hospital or a doctor’s office, since my city is very small it would be like at least a 3 hour wait. Hmm, maybe I’ll go on a school day!

Go to the doctor immediately. It may be a yeast or urinary tract infection. Yeast infections are dangerous (though not on the first day, so dont worry). All you need is some antibiotics. Tell your dad asap.

Well, call your Doctor first thing in the morning
Right now, try to drink cranberry juice cause it clears out the urinary tract. Drink a lot of water too.
It’ll burn a lot while you’re peeing it all out, but it’ll clear it for now, but it’s definitely needed to call your doctor. Just tell your dad your throat hurts or something.

It could be a yeast infection if it is itching. Urinary Tract doesn’t cause itching. It is just normal. Go to a doctor. Tell your dad that you are having some woman’s problems and he will understand and not want to ask any questions or know anymore lol. If he does, just say you think you have a bladder infection. Then tell the doctor your symptoms and there are these pills they can give you to get rid of a yeast infection and you can take them in combination with antibiotics if you have a bladder infection…sometimes you can have both a bladder infection and yeast infection at the same time. The doctor will take a urine sample and be able to tell about the bladder infection. Don’t be scared. It will go away once treated. I don’t think you will die. I didn’t treat a yeast infection and I itched for 2 months. You should treat it. I didn’t treat a bladder infection and it turned into a kidney infection. Just get to a doctor. Good luck
Calm down. It could be because of the shower products you use such as gels and shampoos. They’re never good for your vaginal health. (I’m not suggesting you literally "rubbed it in" but bubbles obviously can travel downwards.) However, you need to go to the doctors because otherwise, it will just get worse. They can prescribe you with a special cream to help stop the itching. Also, stop itching! Try asking an older, female friend who you trust, or an Aunt, or any other woman you are friends with to take you to the doctors. However, I’m not sure if you can make a doctors appointment at 14… depends where you live really. If worst comes to worst, just tell your dad to make you an appointment. He doesn’t necessarily have to go into the doctor’s office with you (although I’m talking in terms of English health care…)
It’s probably a minor yeast infection and NO you cannot die from a yeast infection! that’s a load of crap! I’ve had tooons! And the cause is probably from the soap you use, so you might want to wash with a different soap. Also, your mother may have some Canesten yeast infection cream in the bathroom somewhere, you can use that where it itches(it won’t hurt you even if you haven’t got a yeast infection) and then just tell your mom when she gets home =) also, if it’s a urinary tract infection, buy a jug of cranberry juice(ya i know its gross) tomorrow or whenever, and just drink lots of it, it’ll be gone by the next day! =) I hope I helped you!! Even though you don’t want to tell your father ,you have no choice, yeast infections left untreated can develope into much serious problems such as cancer down the way. If your father is understanding, he may yell a little but he has to remember he was a teenager once also. chances are you have a kidney or bladder infection from what it sounds like because if you had a yeast infection you would have a discharge of sometype. .So really if you don’t want dad to know you were doing the nausting just tell him when you go pee you burn down there and see if that will at least get you into see the doc. or at least get you in for emeregency treatment in a medical setting and please do it.
alright alright, yes i can understand why you are quite scared but i think you’ve got two options.
i had the same feeling once, but then i found out i had the chicken pox! (which is not quite as bad as a yeast infection) because… to be straight forward.. i had a spot up my vagina, ya ew.
if no symptoms develop of anything other illnesses, then yes be rather worried and grow some balls to talk to your dad about it (sorry dont want to sound like a bitch, id be like you, but your life could possibly be in danger- unlikely but possible)

If it burns when you pee it could be cystitis – it really burns when u pee and it is kinda itchy if you can go to a shop ask for cystitis tablets and drink some cranberry juice. I that doesnt work you are going to have to tell somebody xx

Tell your dad that you are having female issues and ask him to make an appointment with your pediatrician. Tell Your dad that you are a big girl and can go see a doctor by yourself. From there if your doctor wants to refer you to an obgyn or Obstetrics and Gynecology your doctor can and they can get you an appointment. They can give you medicine and in a few weeks you will be fine. If you don’t want your dad to take you ask someone your trust.
i don’t know what it is but u shuld definitly go to the doctor… i kinda think that it is a yeast infection but u shuld double check for sure even if u have to be embarressed in front of your dad its okay ! -_- gp tp the hospital and dont cry -_-

It may be a yeast or urinary tract infection, you need to see your doctor first thing Monday, but until then go to Wal-mart or cvs and get some inti-itch cream and that should help until you get to the doctor. I get a yeast infection once a month before my period so know what your going thought.

Monistat didn’t work for me.. my doctor prescribed me meds and it made even worst!
Despite when it manage to heal, the yeast infection will come back again (means it’s not fully cured).
I realized the only real cure for Yeast infection is doing the natural way so it won’t come back again!
