Eating yogurt to cure yeast infection?

I’ve had yeast infections before but i have never tried eating yogurt to cure it. For the past 3 weeks i’ve ate yogurt daily and have taken yeast infection pills. Recently, clumps of yeast have discharged my body as if i used monistat or something, and i’m wondering is this a sign of the infection leaving or is it worsening?

Eating yogurt will NOT cure your yeast infection. Sorry.
Some crazy hippie radicals who are opposed to medicine and chemicals say that if you take a tampon and submerge it in plain yogurt and then stick it up the vagina that it will cure it. You have to do this like 3x a day and leave the tampon in while laying down for like a half hour or something.
I’d rather just take the pill or use monistat.
The clumps of discharge you’re seeing is from the yeast infection. Not from eating yogurt. Go out and take the night time one dose monistat.
It won’t cure it, but it will help
It might be getting worse. I would use something OTC
You should definately go see a gyn. But maybe you should start taking acidophillus supplements. They help balance your bacteria out down there. It works like a charm!
Oaky, I had a really bad one once (accompanied by something else which will remain unamed!!) and I went to the hospital. The nurse told me to get plain yogurt and actually put it on the infected parts. Yogurt is very good for women, yes it is very good to eat it too. But if you want to use it to get rid of a YI, then put the yogurt on your "area".
Using Monistat or such medicines will definitely help and cure it faster than other options.
Yogurt naturally fights yeast infections. You can eat a serving of plain yogurt every day to help prevent recurring yeast infections. For your yeast infection, purchase a carton of plain yogurt. The yogurt should be plain with no added sugar or fruit. The yogurt should have active cultures (read the outside of the container). If the yogurt irritates instead of makes you feel better, discontinue use.
