Do I have a yeast infection?

I’m a 13 year old girl and last night I found some yellow, sticky discharge in my pants. Now, I’ve woken from my sleep and my vagina is annoyingly itchy. Have I got a yeast infection? If so, how do I tell my Mom? Will my doctor look at my vagina? How do you cure yeast infections? Thanks in advance..

You might have a yeast infection. You do need to tell your Mom. Here is what you can say.
"Mom, I have to talk to you about something, it’s a little awkward but I know we can talk about anything. I have been having itching and a yellowish discharge and I am concerned that I may have a yeast infection. What should I do?"
She should help you. If you do go to a doctor, he will have to look at your vagina. What will happen is, the nurse will take you to a little private room, and give you a gown made of paper. You get undressed, sit on the table, and cover yourself with the paper gown. You can ask them how they want it put on, with the openingin the front or back etc. Don’t be worried. This is what he doctor does ALL day long, it’s no big deal. He might talk to you for a minute about what you are experiencing. Feel free to be honest with him and say it’s my first time and I am nervous. He will have you lay dow, and spread your legs open, with yourbutt kind of hanging off the edge. He will look at your vagina, and maybe take a ’swab’ by wiping it with a q tip. He may also stick his finger in, and or a speculum. It will be unpleasant, but it won’t be really painful or anything, and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to be ashamed or embarassed about. Wome n have yeast infections sometimes. It’s a fact of life. As such there is zero shame in it.
Good luck. Be fearless. There is nothing to be afraid of.
sounds like it. its a normal thing 4 women & she shudnt think u r havin sex or n e thing cuz thats not really how u get it so u can jus tell her.the doc wil giv u sumthn 2 insert or sumn 4 it.dnt worry
No it is not a yeast infection. It is vaginal discharge. It happens to every girl. Don’t worry, nothing dangerous, it’s really just your ovaries shedding. And at 13 it is the perfect time, b/c you should be getting your period soon, or if you have already.
The answer is to help all girls and women. All bleeding from the vagina are not menstrual bleeding or period. Monthly period may differ the span of time ie total days of gap for next period may differ. Sometimes it may go up to 36 or 40 days.
A girl or woman has the white jelly like fluid or liquid discharge from the later childhood ie from the age of 8 or 9. The fluid keeps the vagina always wet just as our mouth.wet with saliva. Some how infection may affect the vagina and uterus and then the discharge might become yellowish or reddish and the whole area shall be itchy and painful But when the gap in between two periods is less than 25 days everyone should consult a gynaecologist and get advice and treatment.
Periods during adolescent stage will be generally irregular. It is normal. It may become regular by the age of 18 or 19.
Any defects in the thyroid glands or ovaries or uterus may develop mass or stiff muscles in the breast and blockage of circulation and then sores in the nipples and again pain or aches. Some times white milky fluid comes out from the breast but it is not milk. It shows that some disorder is with the ovary or uterus or breasts itself.
Keep your vagina clean inside and outside always . On period days clean it several times just like we wash our mouth with our hands and fingers.
Avoid unclean sex dealings and in case of sex activities clean it immediately using clean water. Fingering masturbating with unclean objects( pen roller objects etc) may cause injury in the vagina and resultant infection and pain and sores
Every man has the right to enjoy sex as well as every woman has the right to enjoy sex with whom she likes or to reject any ones request for sex.
Don’t get contact with unknown guys or men for sex dealings. Always keep vagina and its surroundings clean and dry. Change you under garments everyday.
Artificial nutrients fast foods artificial colours preservatives and chemicals foods and medicines that contain hormones and all above forced postponement of periods with i pills bc pills etc. In fact in future the irregularity will spoil the regular sex life and reproduction ability of women furiously
Lack of enough exercise for the abdomen especially lower abdomen causes circulation block to the pancreas intestine uterus ovaries bladder genital organs and upper and lower legs and hence the person becomes the victim of severe rheumatism mascular pains lowerback pain knee troubles muscle cramps of legs and abdomen etc.
