does Alka Seltzer actually help relieve yeast infections? (tell me if youve ever tried it)
taking Acidophilus does it help? (if so how much and is it topically or orally)
if you have any other known cures that you guys tried please tell me.

I am a vet tech. I just got a Mini Poodle today and found that he’s got an yeast ear infection. I’m looking for a NATURAL way to treat/cure his poor ears! I do agree that taking him to the vet is the best, so please don’t tell me to take him, because I already know! I honestly don’t believe the medication they will give him will fix it, because I had a dog years ago who had chronic ear infections and nothing helped that the vet did!
I was told of some natural ways to cure yeast-infected ears, but I forgot! Does anyone know of NATURAL ways to treat his ears OTHER THAN TAKING HIM TO THE VET!! Please don’t mention vet’s because I don’t believe that’s something vet’s can really do, it’s a waste of money! I went to school for vet tech, so I’m not uneducated as far as veterinary care for animals!
It is definitely a YEAST ear infection. The smell, texture, and color of his ear leather confirms.
i WENT to school to be a vet tech. PAST TENSE. worked in a vet office as a tech for over 1 year. had major health problems that prevented me from working in the veterinary field.
i don’t have my books anymore, thus the reason i have to ask you idiots. look up Florida Institute of Animal Arts. I graduated from the vet course in 2008.
also, as stated before, I GOT THE DOG TODAY! some old guy owned him and didnt want him anymore, im guessing because of the ear infection as well as the skin problems he has. so dont blame me for something I’M TRYING TO CURE THAT SOME GUY DIDNT WANT TO DEAL WITH!!
its not that i don’t want to spend the money, i have more than enough to spend. i would rather do it holistic and without him getting manhandled by random people that dont know what they are doing to begin with!

I’m a little embarrassed to ask if anyone knows, so I look for maturity from other people…please don’t give me a hard time…
But, I don’t know if I have an std, or a yeast infection, or what…But if anyone knows what I have please tell me! Because I think I have infected my boyfriend… and I feel incredibly bad. I know it’s bad, please don’t give me a hard time for it, but I just want to seek advice/help from people who know.
But i’ll list down the symptoms I have;
1. Sometimes itchy, not incredibly, and it happens once a day, or every 3-4 days.
2. A tiny bit sore – not in the vagina, but around it, and a tiny bit on the ‘lips’. It only feels sore when I use rough toilet paper, feels like i’m being scratched.
3. When I urinate, there’s no pain. No burning.
4. There is sometimes discharge. But it’s white. Maybe 3-4 weeks ago, it was a bit clumpy, but still white.
5. There’s no blood.
6. No lumps, or anything.
NOTE: I have been taking augmentin antibotics for three days now. I am also on the pill. I have been taking them because I had a sinus infection not long ago.
What i’ve realised, is when discharge comes out, it gets itchy? And i’ve realised when I don’t shave, and when my hair is growing back, it becomes mostly itchy around then.
My boyfriend says it’s a case of a yeast infection.
And two days ago, we had sex, unprotected, and he said he got itchy right away but didn’t want to stop, and so after we finished, he went to the bathroom and he found out that he had red lumps on his penis. They are very small, but appear in like a group. He said they are incredibly itchy, but they don’t contain any fluid, and it looks sort of like a rash. Today they are under his foreskin…and there’s only a tiiiiny bit of discharge, not really much at all. As well, I saw today it was a bit dry. It doesn’t burn or anything when he pee’s either.
- P.s: When we had sex, I wasn’t shaved, wasn’t hairy or anything but at the stage where I could, atleast shave. (He doesn’t care so i’m happy about that…)
I’m worried if it’s something severe. I just hope it’s something that will go away. I’m making an appointment to see a doctor tomorrow, but wanted to know if anyone had the same symptoms, and wanted to know in advance. I am going to tell him as soon as I have information from the doctors because I know he loves me and won’t leave me just because of a silly infection.
Also, if anyone knows the price of canesten duo, please let me know. Or if there’s any natural remedies/at home remedies, of CURING the infection, please let me know!
p.s: The last time I slept with someone else, unprotected, was more than a year ago close to two. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 9 months, and I don’t sleep around. The people who I have sex with is partners, not randoms.

my girlfreind just got a yeast infection and i got some bumpson my genitals. we know how to get rid of her infection but does anybody know how i would get rid of my infection without a prescription.anything i can apply to my area to make it go away any help will help. We got it once before but i forgot what i put to make mine go away. any medicenes or natural cure? please need this to go away so we can have soem good times again. thanks
