can a yeast infection cause the vulva to bleed?

I had a minor infection last week and just got done using the the three-day monistat treatment. I wiped after using the bathroom and the vulva stared to burn and bleed….this is the only time this has happened. Did the treatment fail or is the bleeding caused by damaged skin? Sorry for the disturbing question but I can’t go to a doc right now ’cause I’m not currently insured.
Thanks everyone for answering

Yes it can happen. And yes you can go to a doc. Try Planned Parenthood, they test and treat for all infections, etc. and they have a sliding fee based on your income.
Also, you can buy your own medical insurance too, check Blue Cross Blue Shield and others. It’s not that expensive.
