Can a yeast infection cause dryness and a tear on labia?

I'm on antibiotics & now have a yeast infection. Tonite I wiped myself and it hurt. There was blood on the toilet paper and when I looked there was a tear (or cut or slice) on my labia. Could dryness cause this? Would the yeast infection cause the dryness? I haven't had sex or put anything down near there to cause it. Any ideas? Serious answers only.

I don't think you scratched yourself as someone above me suggested this also happened to me when i had a yeast infection because of dryness.
