Are these symptoms of a yeast infection?
I noticed three days ago that I started itching in my vagina area, I tried not to scratch it but I did, now it is slightly red and burns worse. I also have a white discard that has no odor and it is not clumpy at all. I don’t see any warts, but do see tiny bumps that was not there until I scratch it in my sleep. It also burns when I urinate, that happen tonight after I scratch it. Are these symptoms fo a yeast infection or something worse?
I don’t have insurance and I am worried about how to treat this on my own. Please help me with any suggestions you may have.

I would certainly go to a clinic or Planned Parenthood. They will check you out to make sure you don’t have an STD. You really shouldn’t wait. Alot of the symptoms sound like a yeast infection, but I’m a little concerned about the tiny bumps. If you go to the clinic or Planned Parenthood, you will have to pay little to nothing for the visit and the prescription. Good luck girl and go ASAP!
It sounds like it, just go to your pharmacy and ask for some cream for a yeast infection, you should be able to get it without a prescription, if it doesnt go away after the course of the cream, go to your docs.
Another solution if you have low money (this is going to sound yuk) but ive heard that you can get pure plain yoghurt and use that.

Certainly can be. You really need to go to the doctor, to make sure it’s not something worse. If you are diagnosed with a yeast infection, immediately stop eating ALL sugar (breads, carrots, pasta, and other complex carbohydrates that turn into sugar as well as the obvious sugar sources). Eat natural (bio) yoghurt. Yeast feeds on sugar; the natural yoghurt with live cultures replenishes your body’s supply of healthy bacteria and will help rebalance your gut flora, and fight off the yeast. Keep your diet carb/sugar-free until the symptoms are gone, then only eat a small amount of these foods for a while until youre sure it’s totally gone. (This means you’ll be eating a lot of meats, veg, and cheese, like an Atkins diet for a couple weeks.) Your doctor will also give you an anti-fungal cream. This is an old treatment with plenty of brands on the market. Ask him to prescribe one that will be cheap, one that comes in a generic version.
The first answer is correct. You can get the treatment at the drugstore over the counter and it does sound like yeast. Yeast goes wild when it gets hot in the summer so you better act fast. Yogurt can give some comfort too.
it sounds a bit similar to what my wife had. don’t worry that thing will go away and there is a medication for that. (vagisil) it took my wife about a week and a half maybe less for it to go away. everything u said abt white discards etc., are part of it.
another tip would be to tell your man to wash his *you know what* before he puts it in. that can cause some type of infection majorily yeast infection. also if you’re pregnant that can also happen because you’re always leaking. it’s supposed to burn when you have those things. but please don’t worry you’re going to be fine.
you can also try going to any pharmacy without any doctors prescription for some cream. mainly Vagisil. another tip is to wipe from front to back instead of back to front.
You probably have a yeast infection.
Buy some yogurt and eat that. You should see a change in about 1 to 2 days. Not only is it food, but it’s natural and your body needs it – also cheaper than over the counter yeast infection medications.
Yogurt is meant to be ingested not placed on or near the vagina. When you eat yogurt that has live and active cultures your body uses that "good" bacteria to fight "bad" bacteria and clear up infections in the body.
Stop scratching yourself. You irritate the skin and that’s why it burns when you urinate down there, because urine is acidic and it’s flowing over raw skin. Use an ice pack or cool bath to ease the burning.
Yes, it does sound like a yeast infections; however, you can choose to get the cream from the drug store, 7day, 3day, or 1 day treatment. There are also creams for the outside to ease the itching. (Vagisil Cream) I suggest you use the 7 day or 3 day treatment if this is your first time having it. Do not scratch, rub with soft tissue and cold water to temporarily relieve the itching. Scratching will make it worst and spread. DO NOT CLEAN YOURSELF INTERNALLY PRIOR TO USING THE TREATMENT.
Be aware that the packaging advises you to see a doctor if this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection. That is because there are so many STD’s that mimic it. They want you to be sure before taking a treatment that could make it worst.
If you have had it before, you would not be asking it here. My recommendation is that you go to the doctor to be SURE…..ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY ACTIVE….REGARDLESS IF YOU HAVE ONE LONG TERM PARTNER OR MANY PARTNERS, OR IF YOU USED PROTECTION OR NOT.

Keep in mind that some women are sensitive to latex condoms and that could also cause a yeast infections.
Stop consuming all bread, pasta, or carbohydrates during your infection period, since they cause this to permeate into a worst state. Good Luck and be healthy.
You’ve got a yeast infection. Miserable, aren’t they? Go to the drugstore and get Monistat 7 cream and follow the directions. Actually the Walgreen’s store brand, Miconazole 7, is the best. Miconazole 7 is about $10, and actually has an anti-itch ingredient, which Monistat doesn’t. You don’t have to go to a doctor for a yeast infection. In the meantime, lie down with a cold washcloth or a hot water bottle filled with cold water between your legs for a while. Cold soothes itching.
