Today I start taking prescribed antibiotics for a ingrown toenail I am in fear of getting a yeast infection, but I would also like to know how antibiotics cause a yeast infection but can also cure one?
I have a yeast infection, so I bought a yeast infection cream. Can it reduce the effectiveness of the pills?
I had a UTI but was re-tested and the urine sample was negative as well as the culture. I am still having that frequent urge to go and I know I have a yeast infection. Could this be the cause of this? Thanks!

first of all mike, why are you in this section to begin? #1 your an ass, #2 you have no brains & #3 you are very immature. how about you look up "yeast infections" they are caused by antibiotics, periods, being in wet bikinis (my reason) and other little reasons. they are not from not cleaning your cooch and are not stds so yeah get with it or get lost moron!
I’ve had a yeast infection for about a week. I literally just got STD tested so yes, I know it is definetly a yeast infection.
Anyway at first it was insanely itchy. I got a single treatment vaginal antifungal from target, which claims to cure it in 7 days.
Today is day 7. I’ve had no itching since the antifungal, but there’s still evidence of yeast. Is there anything else I can do before I need to see my doctor?
