I have a yeast infection, so I bought a yeast infection cream. Can it reduce the effectiveness of the pills?

I just got my pills to insert for my infection but i had sex earlier today. I was wondering should i still start the medication, because my doctor said not to have sex for 6 days. I think she meant not to have sex if i already started the treatment because it is for 6 days but am not really sure. Should i start it tonight or tomorrow night?
Oh yea and can my partner get it. it was unprotected sex because am pregnant.

I RECENTLY HAD A YEAST INFECTION THAT I CURED ON MY OWN. MY PERIOD WAS A FEW WEEKS AGO AND FOR ABOUT THE PAST WEEK I’VE BEEN CRAMPING, HAVING A WHITE DISCHARGE AND A SLIGHT ODOR. SOMETIMES I SMELL THE ODOR WHEN I THINK I’M OVULATING OR WHEN MY PERIOD IS STARING. WHAT’S THE PROBLE???????????

im not 100% sure that i have a yeast infection but im almost positive because i have most of the symptoms…
its itchy burns, feel sort of raw and very irritated =/ its been like this for 3 days
