Does a yeast infection cause sex to hurt?

I just became sexually active two months ago. Everytime I have sex it hurts to pee afterwards and sometimes during innercourse. (I figured maybe I was allergic to latex). Today I went to the gyno and she said I had a yeast infection. Would the yeast infection cause the pain? And is it okay to have sex while having a yeast infection?

Cure a yeast infection?

Hey I’m 16! I have a bladder infection from not drinking enough water, which lead to a yeast infection.
I’ve never had one before and it bothers me bad, but I can’t go to the doctor because I have no type of insurance and it’d cost my mom too much money. She says I have to wait a few months to go to the doctor but I need this problem solved NOW.

I know there are things in the store to cure yeast infections where you have to stick the tube of cream in your vagina, but I’m a virgin and I’m not comfortable at all with sticking a tube of cream in me.
So my question is;
is there anything you can take by MOUTH that can CURE a yeast infection from the store? Not just relieve the itching and what not, but actually CURE it.
