I was wondering if taking the pill diflucan for a yeast infection would be enough to completely cure it, or would I need to use a cream for the outside? I took the diflucan 3 days ago (it says it can take between 3-5 days to work) and the discharge has stopped but my vulva is still very irritated and red. Would I need a cream for that or will the diflucan take care of it in a couple more days?

I had vaginal yeast infection a month ago. My gyn gave me vaginalets, and after a week treatment I had my period. I do not have itchy, burning feeling, I hardly have any discharge and if I have it it is usually transparent or cloudy. On the other hand about every 2-3 days I have just a small amount of white dicharge, usually in the end of the day. The rest of time my discharge is normal.
So what puzzles me is that my discharge is white sometimes, not constantly… and I wonder if it oculd be that my vagina has still not regained the healthy flora. What do you think?

The only symptom is red patchy places on the penis and some dry/flaky skin. There is no itching, burning, or pain when urinating. The red patches have been present for about two weeks. Could it be a yeast infection or something else?
