okay so i have this really bad yeast infection thats been irritating me and ive been using the monistat 7 for two days now and still am irritated.. its not that it isnt getting better but when it does start to itch its like ten minutes of really bad itching and irritation. im just wondering when the symptoms will start to go away and if maybe the monistat sould have started working already? is this normal.

At first, I was diagnosed and treated for a yeast infection. It cleared up but came back in a couple of months. Then, bacterial vaginosis, also treated and cleared up. A month ago, symptoms started again, and I was diagnosed and treated for BV – but the symptoms did not even lessen (I took Metronidazole orally). Now, I still have whatever it is, and it does not respond to Monistat either. What to do? Tested for STD’s, btw, all clean.

I am tired of OTC products, and at this point I am willing to try anything. I am having a recurring problem with yeast infections. They go away and come back. I dont even want to have intercourse. No more difuclan, no more creams, nothing works or helps me. I am currently eating 1-2 cups of yogurt a day right now, and that only helps with the discomfort of my vagina. It doesnt take the infection away. I am thinking about inserting the yogurt. I am fighting a losing battle with this thing. I so tired of it. I feel like it has taken over my life. Yes, there are more things much more serious but it is very uncomfortable and annoying. Any help. I appreciate all answers but, are there any women out there who has had battles with this? Thanks

I had a vaginal yeast infection and my gyn gave me Fluconazole for it. I started getting little white spots on my throat about the same time I got my yeast infection can my vaginal yeast infection have caused them?
